De Gier Drives introdoces new multifunctional GWM motor

At the GreenTech, De Gier Drive Systems introduces the multifunctional GWM motor gearbox, which is suitable for various applications in ventilation and screening systems.

Modular
The GWM is a modular assembled motor gearbox, consisting of a gearbox with built-in limit switches and an electric motor. The electric motor can be easily mounted and dismounted. There is a hexagonal connection on the input shaft of the reduction gearbox and the axis of the supplied electric motor. This makes it possible to always set the limit switches even if there is no electric motor mounted or if there is no power available.

The electric motor and the limit switches can easily be connected with the help of the wiring diagram in the protective limit switch cover.

Multifunctional
The GWM is available in two gearbox variations.

The GWM with an output speed of 2.6 rpm is available with a torque of 150, 300 or 450 Nm. This motor gearbox is suitable for:
  • Continuous ridge ventilation
  • Side wall ventilation
  • Side wall screening
De Gier has developed a GWM with an output speed of 5.2 rpm and an available torque of 150 or 300 Nm for applications in horizontal screening.

De Gier Drive Systems is exhibiting at GreenTech in the RAI Amsterdam
from the 14th till the 16th of June 2016, in booth 11.435.
