Komeco seeks distributors for organic fertilizers

Komeco is a producer of organic fertilizers based in the Netherlands. For the production of the fertilizers, Komeco uses an in-vessel composting process, designed by sister company Gicom composting systems. Arie van de Wijgert, Komeco: “The composting results in a slow and steady release of nutrients, high water retaining capacity (reduces the use of irrigation water) and stable organic matter that improves the soil structure and fertility by stimulating soil live. Also the products have no smell and can therefore be used in greenhouses and plastic tunnels as well.”

A range of Komeco organic fertilizers is certified for use in organic cultivation; however, the majority is used in conventional crops, because a healthy environment will result in higher yields in conventional growing as well.

At the moment Komeco is expanding its export markets; they are looking for importers/distributors in several regions, like the Middle East and Africa. This is one of the reasons Komeco will participate in the Greentech 2016 in Amsterdam RAI. You can visit their booth 10.107.
