July 9-12, 2016:

US: Cultivate '16 registration opens March 8

March 8 is the opening registration date for Cultivate’16 where the theme of “The New Now” takes hold. Cultivate’16, held July 9-12, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio, features more than 120 educational sessions, an 8-acre trade show, and numerous networking events for all segments of the horticulture industry.

The New Now is about more than change; it’s rooted in the inherent values that have made the industry stand the test of time: passion for plants, tenacious enthusiasm for our jobs, determined perseverance, and the grit to dig in and succeed. The New Now is the same values with different strategies. It's seen more and more that plants are reinventing their relevance in the lives of consumers.

The bottom line is the same: people, plants, and connecting the two with enthusiasm and passion. Whether you’re a supplier, landscaper, nursery or greenhouse grower, florist, interior plantscaper, garden retailer, researcher, student, or just all-around plant nerd, these roles are vital in the new realities found in the industry. The roadmap, the insights, the tools, the network, the resources, and inspiration are all to be found at Cultivate’16.

Cultivate is brought to the industry by AmericanHort. AmericanHort has been cultivating the industry for over 220 years, first as the American Nursery and Landscape Association (ANLA) and OFA - The Association of Horticulture Professionals, and today as the association for all horticulture businesses across all spectrums of the industry. With continuing education opportunities, networking within a 13,000+ member network, initiatives such as Grow Wise, Bee Smart (GrowWise.org) and SHIFT (AmericanHort.org/SHIFT), and governmental advocacy, AmericanHort is the community where businesses find a voice and members get the support to be successful.
