Hortimat develops and produces own line of machinery

Tholen - Hortimat is known for trading used, refurbished horicultural machinery and materials. Recently, Hortimat have started selling their own new machinery. "If we look at the last few years, we can see the demand for used machinery has grown. The demand is sometimes higher than the supply in this market. We don't want to have to say no to our clients and therefore have taken the step to build machinery ourselves so that they are always available," according to director Geert van der Meer. "It is our primary target to meet the demand. The machines are built in-house so we can adapt to the wishes of our clients. Now, Hortimat is not only a supplier of used horticultural machinery and materials, but is also now building its own brand identity."
