Proper application of biostimulants and Trianum

With the arrival of warmer days, irrigation requires more water, resulting in more drain water leaking from the substrate. That makes it especially important to consider the rules for proper application of Trianum and biostimulants (ProParva, ProFortum, ProTerrum) through the drip system.

Make sure these products end up in the slab at the end of the day, and that draining is kept to a minimum in the hours after the application. This requires some calculations. How much water is in the pipes between the unit and the sprinklers? The Trianum page of the Koppert website offers an Excel spreadsheet that allows you to make this calculation.

For example, the result of the calculation may be that the pipe content corresponds to approximately three irrigation sessions. Add the products to 3 or 4 sessions before the last one of that day. There remains no product in the pipes (which would be bad for Trianum), allowing plant and soil to properly take in the biostimulants during the night.
