Combination: Disc Filter, sand filter and activated carbon

The new UDI filters from Uvar are designed to achieve proper pre-filtration, based on a disc filter and a sand filter filled with activated carbon.

Both filters are important for the existing UV installation and ultrafiltration system to achieve proper filtration. Simply because correct pre-filtration is of great importance for the functioning of the entire installation. "For both the disc filter and the sand filter, we at Uvar Holland selected a robust and reliable solution," says Rob Zwaard of Uvar. "Both systems are sustainable. The disc filter filters 5m3 per hour, releasing only 200 liters of rinse water a day."

In the coming year, the results of this installation are followed closely, with Uvar Holland being confident in its products. "A good pre-filtration is of great importance."
