Agrolux to install first projects with new Open 'Wide' Reflectors

This year Agrolux introduced its new "wide" armature. This has not gone unnoticed in the market. The first projects have already been sold and will be delivered in June 2015. The expectation is that many more projects will follow this season.

Design:
The new "wide" armature is almost identical, aesthetically, to the first 1000 watt armature, but is now available with an Open "Wide" Reflector. The low armature temperature has, in the past, taught Agrolux and its clients that there is surprisingly little failure of printed circuit boards and light sources. The ballast above the reflector ensures that there is little shadow in the summer months.

The ALF1000 Wide reflector

Applications:
The ALF1000 ”wide” is suitable for many situations, but is primarily used in low light levels or with the most optimal spread. A glasshouse with a limited height is therefore no problem for the ALF1000 “wide”.

Mechanism:
All Agrolux armatures are supplied with a Philips gen3+ electronic printed circuit board and a suitable Philips El plus light source. With the development of the ALF1000 “ wide,” a lower temperature from the light source and electronic control gear (EVSA) were the starting points, with the result that the light source and EVSA have a longer life. Agrolux armatures have, in recent years, become recognized as the armatures with the lowest failure rate in electronics.

Washing:
This product is the only “wide” reflector that can easily be removed and is extremely suited to being washed by a machine.
