June 14-17, 2015, Montego Bay:

Jamaica to have its own aquaponic conference

INMED Partnerships for Children invites you to attend the upcoming Harvest the Future International Symposium, an exciting aquaponics conference being held this June in Montego Bay, Jamaica. INMED has pioneered cost-effective aquaponic systems for developing countries and will be showcasing these systems at the event. The symposium takes place at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort in Montego Bay from June 14-17, 2015.

Symposium participants will take a field trip to visit INMED’s aquaponic systems, which have been constructed across the island in cooperation with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). As you know, aquaponics can provide livelihoods and food security for small-scale farmers, youth, disabled people, and women. The systems also conserve space, water, and energy, making them ideal for the Caribbean’s climate challenges. These and many other topics will be discussed, with speakers from the USAID, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.

The Early Bird Registration Deadline is April 10, 2015. Interested attendees can also learn more at these links:
