The reason for scheduling the show a few days later is assist the move to a larger, better and more efficient expo area, not far from the current site in Irapuato. Show organizer Lilian Ibarra of Expo AgroAlimentaria Guanjuato told us that the show will now be much easier to access than before. "Not only will the show be both easy to enter and exit from any direction, but also the show will become larger", she said. "At the new premises we will have a new indoor greenhouse exhibition area of 4 hectares and an outside machinery exhibition space of 8.5 hectares. On top of this there are now 20 hectares of demonstration plots, 20 greenhouse demonstration sites, and an active machinery demo site of 10 hectares. This will make the show even larger than before, we now have place for a total number of 1200 exhibition stands."
At the new site more toilet spaces and 8 restaurants are available as well and there are two unloading ramps available for the exhibitors. The last few years the event achieved visitor numbers of around 100,000 or more. At some moments it was too crowded at the floor, so it makes sense that the Expo is moving to a larger location. " We will do our best to offer more quality and benefits for all involved in our event", Lilian Ibarra concluded.
