Job Offer: Operation Supervisor
Location: Northen Greece
The company is a branch of an Italian Group with a primary position in the fruit market with a particular focus on kiwifruit. In order to consolidate and further develop our Greek operations we are searching for an Operation Supervisor to support the business growth and gradually take further responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the overall packing process to make sure that final product complies with all the specifications required for each order or client
- Receive, revise and agree the packing plan in accordance with sales department
- Get in touch with suppliers for day by day activity
- Make sure that quality of fruit packed for final clients match with the specifications in term of fruit quality, compliance of fruit batch, labelling etc..
- Make sure that procedures are respected during packing in terms of traceability, data entry in the ERP system, preparation of documents i.e. delivery nots, packing list, Phyto certificates etc..
- Supervise and report inventories of fruit and packing materials
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master degree in agriculture or related subjects
- 3 years experience in post-harvest operations or quality control in fruit industry
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Good communication skills, proactive and go&get attitude, team player
- Ability in data collection and administration mainly related to inventory management
- Good knowledge of standard Microsoft software
- Resident in northern Greece or willing to relocate in the area
