UK Sales Manager - (South of the UK)

 

Introduction

Restrain is the world’s leading business solution for low level ethylene in potato and onion storage as well as tomato ripening on the vine. We currently operate in 38 countries.

Our core business is the supply and lease of Restrain in-house built equipment to customers such as potato processors and growers. Our zero-residue crop protection is in harmony with the global sustainable movement.

Restrain is expanding and the non renewal of CIPC across Europe has created further opportunities for growth. We now have a vacancy for a UK Sales Manager.

We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual, based in the South of the UK, who will operate across the entire potato sector.

Main Duties

  • You build and develop strong relationships with potato processing companies and their growers in the South of the UK, through personal contact on a regular basis
  • You generate leads and new business existing current clients and new prospects
  • You are accountable for the implementation of your sales budget
  • You develop market knowledge, build networks, analyse and report market evolution
  • You lead and/or support projects with your Restrain colleagues

Skills and Qualifications

  • Storage experience required
  • Result driven personality and strong negotiation skills: Dealmaker
  • Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised
  • Great presentation skills
  • Good listener, open minded, dynamic and committed
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Customer and market-focused, ability to prioritize work according to goals.
  • Flexible
  • Positive professional attitude and work ethic
  • Fluent in English
