Wilbur-Ellis Companies are leading international marketers and distributors of agricultural products, animal feed and specialty chemicals and ingredients. 

AgCode’s vineyard Management Solution is essential to specialty crops around the world from California to Australia and New Zealand. Built with insight and support of some of the biggest names in specialty agriculture, since its inception, AgCode has expanded from vineyard management to high-value, specialty crops including apples, cherries, sweet corn and blueberries.

Due to their expanding footprint in Australia, AgCode is now seeking an energetic Sales Development Executive to join their growing sales team. This role is integral to AgCode’s success and is a unique opportunity to join a mission focussed, fast paced, smart and fun team at the forefront of agricultural technology. 

Duties & Responsibilities will include the following;

  • Outbound prospecting to generate & uncover new opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed goals for existing business on a quarterly basis
  • Provision of research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information
  • Proactively provide high level company, product and market knowledge via website, webinars and marketing information
  • Manage and log activity into Zoho (CRM) daily

To be successful in this great position, you will possess the following skills, attributes & experience;

  • Ideally have a background in agricultural technology sales/business development direct to producer organisations
  • Have a broad understanding of the Australian agricultural market, ideally with exposure to specialty crops
  • Thrive in a fast-paced sales environment with reward for effort
  • Familiar and comfortable using a CRM as part of your daily routine
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic sales team environment
  • High levels of resilience with the ability to push through short term roadblocks and keep motivated for the long-term wins
  • Genuinely enjoys building long term relationships with farmers and industry companies and participants
  • Excellent time management, well organised and self-motivated, being motivated by success
  • Highly driven and persistent in achieving goals to succeed both individually and as part of the team
  • Creative with the ability to think outside the box when looking at new ideas and solving problems
