Flower Manager - New Business Development / Kenya
A Major Horticultural Grower / Exporter growing and exporting Flowers, Fruits & Vegetables based in KENYA is currently seeking to fill the position of
Flower Manager – New Business Development
- At least five years’ experience in International Sales & marketing preferably in the floricultural industry, if not should have a passion for the industry and flowers as a whole
- Quick learner, highly organised, good communicator with great interpersonal & customer -service skills
- Attention to detail, follow up and positive attitude
- True team player, working with the sales & marketing team and senior Management.
- Supervise and coordinate daily business activities with Farm Packhouses, logistics teams, freight agents and customers
- Artistic & Creative ability
- Good time management, and the ability to work under pressure
- Natural business acumen and ability to identify unique selling points
- Proactive to adapting to different changes in the market
- Identify Potential new Markets
- Market intelligence and identification of Global trends to then be able to guide our production team on future variety selection.
- Creation of market plans
- Had experience in the Launch of new products or services.
- Evaluation of Product quality
- Knowledge of flower seasonality and lifespan.
- Evaluate new packaging trends, to improve quality, reduce cost & add value
Proficient in spoken and written English and at least one other European Language, preferably Russian.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an appropriate / similar field
