Job Summary
The candidate should be able to manage and handle all administrative tasks, supervise staff, monitor all crops aspects in a 25 ha farm for different types of berries ( raspberries , strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and figs) grown in hydroponic system under greenhouse-controlled environment. The candidate should be able to prepare budgets, plan strategies for maximum yield, have good business relationships with suppliers and clients, finally ensure maximum profitability.

Key Accounatabilities and activities

• Preparing crop plans and harvest schedules ensuring staff understand expectations.
• Planning with his team for all Agri-inputs programs readiness on time like: Plants, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and others.
• Making regular visits for the different divisions to inspect crops, and also perform analyses for all data deriving on daily basis from all the crew and all the departments like: irrigation, operation, fertigation, IPM, financial, commercial and packhouse departments and ensure that all the team is heading towards the same pre-planned direction.
• Recommending immediate improvements whenever needs in any department at all levels.
• Coordinate with HR and participate in the recruitment and make training for his close team if necessary.
• Prepare budgets and operational reports
• Follow up sales and returns with sales team.
• IN absence of sales team or offtake agreement with third party he should be able to handle the sales and marketing of products produced in his farm.
• Follow up costing and budget.

• Marketing and sales skills

Minimum Knowledge Preferred Knowledge

• Minimum experience in farm management: not less than 5 years: berries industry and hydroponic crops. 
• Experience in crop management like irrigation, fertigation and integrated pest management 

Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or equivalent. 
• MS in agricultural science or equivalent.

Minimum Languages Preferred Languages

• English, written and spoken
• Arabic, written and spoken 
• Any other language is a plus

• With all his direct team.
• With all other farm managers in Global

External Communication

• With other colleagues under the same mother company. 
• With all central departments leaders in the mother company. 
• With clients and suppliers and service providers.
