Supply Chain Coordinator - Kudelstaart, Netherlands

About the Role:

This is a rare opportunity to be at the heart of our new offices in Kudelstaart, Netherlands. You will be joining our small, friendly and fast paced team with potential for you to develop/progress your career with one of the leading UK Horticultural businesses.

Responsible for receipting, checking quality and exporting of plants from the Netherlands to the UK. As well as providing support and guidance to the buying team such as sample ordering and system work.

 

This includes:

  • Receipt plants and packaging deliveries into the warehouse and system. Resolving discrepancies with suppliers where necessary.
  • Booking KCB Fyto checks and meeting with the inspector to assist in plant inspections.
  • Create shipping paperwork and Fyto documents.
  • Process plant sample requests from the UK team, ordering these from growers and ensuring prompt export to the UK.
  • Working with growers to promote good quality & control by agreeing plant specifications, perform inspections, crops walks & build strong relationships.
  • General system and administration work to support the buying team and wider business.

 

Skills

  • You will need to be fluent in Dutch to communicate with our supply base in Holland.
  • Experience within Dutch horticulture / floriculture industry (Plants)
  • Persistent and proactive approach
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in Dutch & English)
  • Good analytical / numeracy skills
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office applications.

 

Package Details: Initially this will be a one-year fixed contract, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility to cover seasonal peaks in workload and off-site meetings.
