For our recently established breeding facility in Xiamen, China we are looking for a
Breeder (MSc) m/f/o
Ernst Benary Samenzucht GmbH is one of the leading flower breeding companies specializing in seed-raised annual and perennial bedding plants. Our core business is developing and selling new ornamental varieties for commercial plant production. We supply premium seed to international wholesalers in more than 120 countries on all continents and operate facilities on various continents.
Your Profile:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in plant breeding
- At least 5 years of job experience in professional flower breeding
- Relevant experience in autonomous and successful execution of breeding programs
- Good English skills, spoken and written
- Interest in learning basic Chinese
- Knowledge in breeding data management, MS-Office required
- You are a motivated team player and have a structured work approach
- We are seeking for a creative personality with strong goal-orientation and a hands-on mentality
- International travel is required
- You are highly motivated and willing to work flexible hours including weekends occasionally
