While a lot of propagators still rely on physical human labour for this work, an increasing amount of growers are considering automating the work. Especially now that vision technology has become more common and affordable, automated grafting is again topic of discussion.

Sunday morning means Flower Run. Organized by Luxfora, GIE Media and AmericanHort and celebrating Luxflora’s mission to develop a visionary, influential floriculture network in which women leaders can create, inspire, and flourish. It was held at a new location this year: across from Franklin Park Conservatory.
The run took of at 6:30 AM, therefor the photo is a bit blurry... With a high temperature and a high humidity at that time of the day already it wasn't an easy one! Almost 150 runners participated and Jon Vaughan finished first within 19:49 minutes.
