In August 2025, an organic cucumber cost an average of CHF 2.30 in Swiss retail stores. This was CHF 0.09 more than in the previous month (+4.3%). However, this price was low for August: in the previous three years, organic cucumbers cost between CHF 2.43 and CHF 2.94 each in August.
Organic nectarines at their most expensive in August since 2018
Organic nectarines cost CHF 6.49/kg in Swiss retail stores in August. This was pricier than in the same month last year, when a kilogram of organic nectarines cost CHF 5.59/kg (+9.2%). In previous years, nectarines also cost less in August than this year. Only in 2018 was the August price higher than this year, at CHF 6.93/kg.
