Canadian greenhouse grower exhibits for the first time

Del Fresco Pure®, a greenhouse pioneer, announced its inaugural participation at the Organic Produce Summit. This event will take place from July 9-10, 2025, at the Monterey Convention Center in Monterey, California, and the company will showcase its line of organic greenhouse-grown cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers.

"Our entry into the Organic Produce Summit marks a significant milestone for us," says Ray Mastronardi, vice president of sales. "We are excited to showcase our dedication to sustainable agriculture and introduce our greenhouse-grown produce to a broader audience."

The company will showcase its Organic Seedless English cucumbers, which are award-winning cucumbers that are a blend of crispness and sweetness. The cucumbers are free from seeds and certified organic.

The company is known for its cutting-edge greenhouse technology, which allows it to produce fresh vegetables year-round, regardless of weather conditions. This method not only ensures consistent quality and supply but also reduces the carbon footprint associated with traditional farming methods.

Key highlights of the company's offerings include:

  • Organic Tomatoes on the Vine: Vibrant, juicy, and bursting with flavor, perfect for salads or cooking.
  • Organic English Seedless Cucumbers: A blend of crispness and sweetness, fit for any meal.
  • Organic Mini Cucumbers: Crisp and refreshing, ideal for snacking or adding to dishes.
  • Organic Rainbow Sweet Peppers: Colorful and sweet, excellent for grilling or raw consumption.

The company will also highlight its recent EFI Equitable Food Initiative Certification, which underscores its commitment to ethical labor practices and sustainable agriculture. The EFI certification is a prestigious acknowledgment that recognizes excellence in worker empowerment, food safety, and environmental stewardship.

"Achieving EFI certification is a significant milestone for us," says Mastronardi. "It reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a positive impact on our workforce and the environment. We believe that sustainable practices are essential to the future of agriculture, and we're proud to be at the forefront of this movement."

The company's team will be at booth #1002 during the upcoming Organic Produce Summit.
