Uzbekistan significantly increased its apple and tomato exports during the first four months of 2025, according to the State Statistics Committee.
Between January and April 2025, the country exported 4,727 tons of apples, valued at $3 million. Most shipments were directed to CIS markets. Apple export volumes by country:
- Russia: 2,840 tons
- Kazakhstan: 1,564 tons
- Turkmenistan: 167 tons
- Kyrgyzstan: 102 tons
- Other countries: 54 tons
Tomato exports for the same period reached 8,860 tons, generating $10.3 million in revenue. Key destinations included:
- Russia: 8,031 tons
- Kyrgyzstan: 379 tons
- Kazakhstan: 329 tons
- UAE: 89 tons
- Belarus: 11 tons
- Other countries: 21 tons
Both product categories show strong demand in regional markets, with Russia remaining the dominant buyer.
