Photo report: InfoAgro 2025

The fifth edition of InfoAgro Exhibition, held at the Palacio de Congresos de Aguadulce in Almería last week, has drawn the attention from growers, suppliers, and technology providers active in greenhouse horticulture. Located in the centre of the European vegetable production region in Spain, growers found their way to the trade show.

Cooperatives from the Almería region were present as well. These producer organizations are involved not only in greenhouse vegetable cultivation but also in collaborative projects facilitating the application and adaptation of advanced technologies within the regional horticultural sector.

Exhibitors presented new crop varieties bred for resistance against pests and diseases. Crop nutrition solutions were also widely displayed, including biostimulants and plant activators derived from novel protein-based sources. These biotechnological developments are currently being integrated into commercial production models.

Alongside biological inputs, software for crop and resource management—including ERP systems—was featured prominently. Automation technologies for greenhouse operations were also showcased, including drones and electric mobility solutions. Among equipment types, battery-powered machinery—ranging from scooters and forklifts to battery tractors—was noted for attracting considerable visitor interest due to its application in closed-environment operations.
