CAN: $75K contribution to help Bethesda’s Greenhouse Project

Bethesda announced that Meridian Credit Union has generously committed $75,000 in support of the organization's Greenhouse Project, an initiative designed to enhance the lives of adults living with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. This contribution plays a key role in the development of a therapeutic and recreational space that will provide therapeutic opportunities along with meaningful opportunities for growth, skill-building, and connection.

The Greenhouse project is a key component of Bethesda's ongoing efforts to provide individuals with the resources and spaces needed to thrive. The new greenhouse facility will offer a peaceful, nature-filled environment where participants can engage in hands-on activities such as plant cultivation, fostering personal development and promoting physical and mental well-being.

This expanded facility will play a key role in our Gardening Program, offering a fantastic opportunity for increased participation and enabling individuals supported to continue enjoying their passion for gardening year-round.

Bethesda CEO, Paul McGowan shares, "We are incredibly thankful to Meridian for their generous grant toward Bethesda's greenhouse initiative. Their support goes beyond just funding—it's a true testament to the power of collaboration and their corporate vision of providing a better future for all. This partnership will enable us to make meaningful progress, and we are excited to work together toward a shared vision of positive impact in our community."
