In week 3, vine tomatoes on the German market primarily came from the Netherlands and Spain, with Belgian offers following in terms of importance. Cherry tomatoes were mainly supplied from Spain and Italy. According to the BLE, round tomatoes were mainly supplied from Morocco and Turkey. In the field of beef tomatoes, Moroccan and Spanish loads set the tone. On the whole, customers had access to a vast range of produce, the quality of which was generally of a high standard. Demand was quite favorable at times, but it could be satisfied without difficulty. The prices did not change significantly. Price increases were observed over the course of the week, but by the weekend these were mostly negligible because traders lowered prices to avoid larger surpluses.

Apples
There was little movement in supply, with domestic products continuing to dominate: Elstar, Braeburn, and Boskoop played the main role. Pink Lady, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious came from Italy.
Pears
Demand was not particularly high due to the wintry weather. Growers generally adjusted their supply sufficiently to the level of interest, keeping price changes within reasonable limits.
Table grapes
Imports from South Africa played the main role, followed by deliveries from Peru and Namibia in roughly equal quantities. Crimson Seedless came from Turkey, but only as a complement to the market.
Oranges
Overall, interest in the frosty temperatures was quite appealing. This also had a positive impact on the prices, which rose in some cases.
Small citrus fruits
The presence of clementines continued to decline: Spanish loads predominated, while Italian and Moroccan loads played only a minor role. Spanish loads also dominated the market for mandarins, which gained in overall importance.
Lemons
Spanish Primofiori dominated and were available in some places in a monopoly-like fashion. The winter weather had a positive effect on sales; interest picked up noticeably.
Bananas
Demand was not particularly strong, and traders responded by reducing supply.
Cauliflowers
The availability of Italian and Spanish offers increased; the presence of French and Dutch loads, on the other hand, was limited. The quotations did not show a consistent line.
Lettuce
Iceberg lettuce was available from Spain in a monopoly-like fashion. Availability increased, causing quotations to often crumble a little.
Cucumbers
In the area of cucumbers, Spanish items dominated, which were available in all common sizes. The Dutch and Belgian loads showed gaps in this respect.
Sweet peppers
Spanish loads dominated, with Turkish imports following in terms of importance. Business was uneven.
