Kazakh tomato producers resume exports to Russia

The Russian Federation has lifted temporary restrictions on the import of tomatoes from Kazakhstan, according to the Committee for State Inspection in the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

Following an analysis conducted by the Federal Service Rosselkhoznadzor in cooperation with the All-Russian Plant Quarantine Center and negotiations with Kazakh officials, Rosselkhoznadzor canceled the temporary ban on imports from 36 Kazakh greenhouse complexes starting January 16.

These producers have been officially recognized as free from quarantine pests and included in the list of approved suppliers.
