Orance has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Growers United. This makes the grow light specialist from Wateringen (NL) the business partner for all Growers United growers in the field of grow light solutions. In practical terms, this implies that the specialists from Orance will offer guidance in the coming years on matters related to grow light and investments within the fruit and vegetable cooperative.
Arno Wartewig and the chairman of Growers United, Jack Groenewegen
"In the four years since our establishment, we have evolved into the strategic partner for grow light solutions in the high-end greenhouse horticulture market," says Arno Wartewig. Together with René van der Sar, he founded the company in 2019. Orance now consists of a team of specialists with extensive experience in the sector. The collaboration with various members of Growers United dates back to well before 2019, involving guidance on various lighting projects.
In addition to providing substantive expertise, a crucial aspect of this collaboration is handling applications within the renewed EU subsidy program for vegetables and fruits (SIG&F), with a broader focus on the environment, sustainability, and research. "This enables sales organizations to potentially subsidize a part of the investment in more sustainable LED fixtures, given careful adherence to all steps and required documentation. This requires structure and a solid justification, but with our technical expertise and extensive experience in greenhouse lighting, we can optimally guide these processes."
As part of the agreement, there will also be a substantial exchange of knowledge. This will be facilitated through the utilization of their 'LED Experience Center' in Wateringen (NL) and by organizing knowledge events for the members of Growers United, the growers.
