Ukraine: Ivano-Frankivsk community are establishing a greenhouse farm

The municipal enterprise "Frankivsk Agro" plans to establish a greenhouse farm in the village of Radcha, Ivano-Frankivsk. The planned area for this project is 8 hectares, and they aim to start construction on the first greenhouse in November. The deputy mayor for property and land affairs for the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, Mykola Vitenko, made this announcement.

The initial greenhouse will have an approximate area of 500 square meters and can be connected to the nearby substation. Mykola Vitenko stated, "We will be cultivating lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes in the greenhouse, and we plan to sell the harvest."

It has also been said there will be a well on the site. And there are plans to install a solid-fuel boiler to heat the greenhouse and two warehouse buildings.

According to the official, work is already underway on land planning and project documentation. Following this phase, tender announcements for procurement will be made.
