Made of biodegradable or recycled material

New clips for tomato and cucumber cultivation

Bato Plastics B.V. comes out with new clips, the Bato Clip 21 mm and Clip 14 mm. Like all their new clips, the Bato Clip 21 mm is available in biodegradable material (brown) or 100% recycled polypropylene (black). The clip is primarily intended for tomato cultivation.

"By making all our new clips from biodegradable material or 100% recycled polypropylene, we help our end customers to make their cultivation more sustainable and prevent high waste costs," says Hans Luijkx from Bato Plastics.

According to Hans, Bato Clip 21 mm knows many advantages. "The clips are low-budget and environmentally friendly, and as they have a very light and smart design, less material is needed, resulting in a cheaper product." He adds the clips have an audible click, and the round edges ensure less chance of diseases. "It's extremely suitable for tomato cultivation."

Clip 14 mm
"Another new development is the Clip 14 mm for cucumber cultivation, which is also available in biodegradable material. When producing this extra lightweight clip, we use 63% less material compared to the 15-millimeter clip. More clips fit in a box and on a pallet, which is cost-effective and saves you considerable transport costs," Hans concludes.

The Bato Clip 14 mm for cucumber cultivation will be introduced by the end of June.
