Snack tomatoes 'the ideal Brainboosters' during exams

Throughout the month of June, BelOrta is putting its snacking tomato shaker in an Einstein jacket. The company wants to encourage young students to snack healthily while trying to bring out their inner Einstein.

Throughout June, BelOrta wants to inspire students to bring out their inner Einstein, one of the world's greatest geniuses, during the exam period. To this end, the cooperative is temporarily revamping the candy tomato shaker.

During the exam period, students spend more time at their desks, which means they are less likely to burn sugars and fats. With cherry tomatoes as the ideal Brainbooster, BelOrta wants to encourage young people studying to choose a healthy substitute for sweets and possibly less healthy snacks. This way, they don't have to worry about their diet while studying and can fully focus on the subject matter. Getting smarter and snacking healthily, Einstein would be proud.

A fixture in Belgian households
Cherry tomatoes have become a fixture in shopping trolleys in recent years. One Belgian eats an average of 1.78 kg of cherry tomatoes a year. They are also most popular among young people and families with children.
