BOAL Group has earned a Top 50 ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) rating among all companies worldwide. This achievement is a testament to BOAL Group's commitment to sustainability and responsible corporate practices.
The ESG rating is determined by an independent third-party organization Sustainalytics (a Morningstar company). It evaluates companies based on their performance in the three key areas of environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance. BOAL Group's high ranking is a reflection of the company's efforts to minimize its environmental footprint, promote ethical business practices, and support the well-being of its employees, customers, and communities.
Only two Dutch companies in the Global Top 50
The Netherlands is known for its strong corporate governance and sustainable business practices. However, only two Dutch companies have been awarded a Global Top 50 badge in ESG performance. BOAL Group also obtained the number one position globally within the Building Products segment for 2023. For the 2023 ranking, Sustainalytics assessed over 15,000 organizations using their acclaimed rating system.
BOAL Group CEO, Adri Pols, said, "We are honored to receive this recognition for our ESG performance. Sustainability and responsibility are deeply ingrained in our company culture, and we are committed to continuing to improve in these areas. We believe being a responsible corporate citizen isn't only the right thing to do, but it also makes good business sense."
The ESG rating is just one of the many ways BOAL Group is demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and responsible corporate practices. The company has also set ambitious sustainability targets, such as reducing its carbon footprint, promoting sustainable sourcing, and investing in renewable energy.
BOAL Group is proud to be a leader in sustainability and corporate responsibility, and the company looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the world.
