P.L. Light Systems, a North American-based horticultural lighting manufacturer which has been serving growers for over 41 years, is pleased to announce the hiring of a new Regional Sales Manager, Anthony Mittiga.
Anthony will be responsible for working with and supporting existing and future P.L. Light Systems customers in the states of Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Most recently, Anthony worked for the Hawthorne Gardening Company (a division of Scotts Miracle Gro) as an Area Sales Manager, serving both the retail and commercial hydroponic markets selling equipment such as lighting, benching, dehumidification, and irrigation systems. During his tenure at Hawthorne, he successfully closed many sales projects in NY, MA, VT, NH, CT, NJ, and PA.
Prior to working for the Hawthorne Gardening Company, Anthony worked for Twister Trimmers – a well-known equipment provider in the cannabis industry, selling to both retail and commercial customers. During his time at Twister Trimmer, Anthony notes that he gained significant knowledge about harvesting, drying, curing, and trimming in this specialized industry.
Before joining the horticultural industry, Anthony worked for over ten years in the high-end technical healthcare equipment industry, managing accounts with both physicians and dentists.
