"Even during the pandemic, the market demand for dataloggers has not declined"

With the relaxation of domestic pandemic prevention policies in China, the market is gradually recovering. Frigga is a professional real-time Datalogger solution provider. At present, the company's real-time dataloggers serve customers on five continents around the world, covering various industries such as medicine, food, logistics, and supermarkets. In an interview with FreshPlaza, Paddy, from the company, introduced the company's recent export of dataloggers.

In fact, during the past few years of the pandemic, our sales volume has shown a trend of increasing year by year. When asked how to respond to the general trend of rising sea freight, declining fruit trade volume, and insufficient consumption motivation, Paddy said: "First of all, fruit is just in demand in the market. During the lockdowns, many high-income groups were unable to go out or consume, so they spent more money and energy on food. During the pandemic, the logistics were not smooth, and many overseas exporters used air freight channels, and air freight required dataloggers to ensure product quality. As a result, our sales have increased rather than decreased. Secondly, fruits, especially perishable high-quality fruits, are very sensitive to the temperature environment during transportation. If individual fruits in a box are damaged, it is likely that other fruits will also rot, which means the loss will increase. Therefore, in the case of unstable shipments, many importers and exporters are willing to spend more on dataloggers."

Then, Manager Tang introduced the products that have had the most demand in the market recently. "We launch a number of new products every year. A few months ago, the company officially released two disposable dataloggers, V5D and V5B. At present, customers in China, Southeast Asia, Australia, Europe, America, and other countries have begun to use them.

Paddy gave a detailed introduction to this: "V5D is a real-time datalogger based on a 2G network. Although some countries and regions are still using 2G networks, in some countries and regions, 2G network services will gradually decrease or even withdraw. For example, the United States will completely shut down the 2G network at the end of 2022 and will only provide 4G or even 5G network services in the future. Therefore, we developed V5B for 4G/5G. It is worth mentioning that V5B is a 4G/5G, fallback 2G network. In other words, V5B can be used in both 4G and 2G networks, which is very convenient. "

When talking about the chip shortage and the impact of the pandemic on the company's production and sales, Paddy said, "We have a backup system for core raw materials, which can accurately analyze and predict the market trend of chips and take various countermeasures in advance. In addition, some important customers have signed an annual cooperation plan with us, and this cooperation mechanism can ensure a stable supply of raw materials and a stable supply price." Paddy said.

"Now that the market has reopened, I think consumers will buy more fruits and fresh products, which also means that the market's demand for dataloggers will further increase," Paddy said.

"Recently, the famous Berg Insight released an analysis report on the cold chain and datalogger market. The report mentioned the sales volume of Frigga as one of the leading companies in the cold chain industry. This is an affirmation of our efforts to continuously develop new products, discover the real needs of customers in essence, and provide customers with cost-effective products," Paddy said, "We hope to work together with our partners. Together, we will push the industry towards the IoT era of real-time monitoring. "
