After a three-year wait, Rijk Zwaan will finally be participating in Asia Fruit Logistica again in Bangkok from 2-4 November 2022. At its stand (F-17), the vegetable breeding company will be presenting a palette of bright, healthy, and inspiring fruits and vegetables that contribute to a ‘Colourful Life’. Just before the trade fair, Rijk Zwaan is organizing its own Melon Event which will zoom in on the relevant trends affecting this important category in Asia.

Rijk Zwaan’s highlights at Asia Fruit Logistica will include the yellow-flesh watermelon Tropical Sunshine, the debut of the orange-flesh Quincy melon variety Fujisawa RZ, the pink tomato Kawaguchi RZ, the four colors of Sweet Palermo peppers, the colorful snack vegetable range SN!BS, the company’s range of Salanova lettuces, and many, many more. Tech & Innovation seminar
The company’s focus on innovation will be further illustrated during the Tech & Innovation seminar, which Rijk Zwaan will be co-presenting in partnership with Signify and Priva. This informative presentation is being held as part of the Asia Business Forum on Wednesday 2 November (13.00-13.45 hrs). Rijk Zwaan will illustrate how the transition to new growing techniques and other innovations in Asia can bring varietal innovation, higher product quality standards, and products are grown closer to home.
Rijk Zwaan Melon Event
Just before the trade fair, Rijk Zwaan is organizing its own unique Melon Event on 1 November. Partners from throughout the fresh supply chain can visit the Wasana Melon Farm, followed by a seminar in which various experts will share their insights into relevant production, sales, and marketing trends for this important category in Asia. Rijk Zwaan will also be presenting its broad range of melon and watermelon varieties, including those that have been specifically developed for the Asian market.
