Grower tweaks cultivation: "We won't be producing tomatoes all winter"

Stop or keep going? A Dutch regional broadcaster found that many growers in the Netherlands face that dilemma. Chrysanthemum grower Juliska van der Breggen has decided to stop growing in one of her two glasshouses. Tomato grower Richard Hartensveld continues to grow tomatoes in all eight of his greenhouses, but with a modified crop. He is switching just about all his lights off.
