Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility proudly introduced a new strawberry harvesting trolley at GreenTech Amsterdam. This harvesting trolley has been specially developed to meet the wishes and needs of the end users. The new harvesting trolley is more compact, lighter, and has a turning platform.
"During the development of this new model, we explicitly listened to the wishes and needs of our customers. They indicated that they were looking for a maneuverable harvesting wagon that is easy to maintain. By being in close contact with the end-user during the process, we have developed a product that perfectly matches the desires and needs in the sector," says Robbie van Beek.
"The new harvest wagon has been designed in such a way that the net weight of the harvest wagon has been considerably reduced. This has made the harvest wagon more maneuverable and easier to use."
The turning platform makes this harvest wagon genuinely unique, according to Robbie. The rotary platform can be adjusted to different angles, and it ensures that you can always walk in front of, behind, and beside the harvest wagon to optimize harvesting. "This harvesting trolley has a greater reach, is more flexible, and has ample space for crates of punnets."
In addition, this harvest wagon is suitable for a smaller track size. "You often see this challenge at crop changes. The whole development of the harvest wagon has involved care and challenges, but the result is a harvest wagon that exceeds the expectations of our customers."
