The Green Disruption Summit, the great European appointment of disruptive technologies for the green revolution, was held in Braga (Portugal) on July 12.
This open innovation space, promoted by the European Foundation and Innovation-INTEC and framed in the HIBA Interreg Spain-Portugal Project, aims to present and inspire disruptive solutions for the preservation of the planet and the fight against climate change, especially regarding the impact of agriculture.
The last part of the day consisted of an elevator pitch of the startups that were selected to participate in the event. The winner, chosen by an international jury, was Viridius Technology, a Portuguese technology and artificial intelligence startup for berries and greenhouses.
One of the other startups selected was Gloop, a Spanish startup that is developing edible and sustainable cutlery and that will participate in the final round of the startup elevator pitch competition that will be held in the Smart Agrifood Summit, in Malaga, on September 29 and 30.
According to the international jury, all selected startups were focused on the green economy and the fight against climate change.
