Autonomous Greenhouse Challenge month underway, differences in strategy visible

The last growing cycle in the third edition of the Autonomous Greenhouse Challenge has been underway for almost a month. The autonomously cultivated lettuce is growing in abundance. The crop can be followed on a digital dashboard based on graphs and photos. One of the things that can be seen is that the teams have different costs for, among other things, gas.

During an information session on 25 May, participants were given a glimpse of the crop and an update on autonomous cultivation. Because what is that exactly? What was striking during the update on the cultivation competition was the composition of the teams (not a single Dutch team) and that these strategies vary, Robert Solleveld of Glastuinbouw Nederland shares on 'Kas als Energiebron'.

Participants in the knowledge session were able to take a look at the cultivation in the cultivation competition.

A meeting will be held on 1 July to share the results. You can register for that meeting here.
