Dutch contribution to Chechnya greenhouse horticulture project under scrutiny

Greenhouses can be found all over the world. Dutch people like to help build them, and they have done so as well in Chechnya, an autonomous republic of the Russian Federation. Follow the Money found out that Dutch companies are doing business with the country, which has been criticized in the West because of the regime that Ramzan Kadyrov is running.

There are eight horticultural companies involved in the YugAgro project, which according to investigative journalists, is an important propaganda tool for Kadyrov. Moreover, the money from the project would go directly to Kadyrov. 

One wonders if Dutch companies should be doing business with a company under the rule of Kadyrov? A recent article about the topic made one thing clear: most of the companies approached don't like talking about it.
