Illegally connected greenhouse in Romitan cost the district 437 million

In the Romitan district of the Bukhara region, Uzbekistan, a greenhouse was found that illegally used a natural gas pipeline. The press service of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office reports.

As a result of the pre-investigation check, which was carried out by the Bukhara Regional Department of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office, together with employees of the Bukhara Gas Supply Department "Khududgaz Bukhoro," a farm was identified that illegally connected the greenhouse to the central high-pressure gas supply line, bypassing the electronic meter for accounting for consumed gas.

The amount of damage caused to the state and society amounted to 437.1 million.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under the article violation of the rules for the use of electricity, heat, gas, or water supply of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This article provides for punishment, in the form of imprisonment, for up to 3 years if the material damage caused is not compensated in full.
