İBB started the distribution of approximately 15 million summer vegetable seedlings, which will be delivered free of charge to a total of 166 farmers in 1.140 districts and five neighborhoods. IMM (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality ) president Ekrem İmamoğlu loaded the seedlings that will be delivered to the farmers of Istanbul free of charge on the trucks together with the female farmers. “Not concrete walls, but truly fertile fields will enlighten us and make us happy,” he said. The seedling distribution ceremony was marked by the words of Ayla Berber, a female producer, “I want this kindness movement to spread throughout the country, starting in Istanbul.”
IMM continues to deliver the seedlings it produces in greenhouses heated by recycling wastes to the farmers of Istanbul at the İSTAÇ Solid Waste Center in Kemerburgaz. The distribution of the summer vegetable seedlings started with a ceremony. IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu attended the ceremony with greenhouse worker Gülseren Gökhan and producer Ayla Berber sitting beside him.
