Preserving the produce: Indian fruit importer partners with protected cultivation systems developer

IG International, a fruit importer in India, has announced that it has entered into a joint venture with Aatregreen, a steward in protected cultivation systems facilitated by their extensive range of shade net houses and tunnel systems. The partnership would establish the consortium, IG Aatreyas, as a large tunnel supplier in the tunnel system production segment.

The solution to the snag that is engendered by Aatregreen through their utilitarian range of products is to remove uncertainty from agriculture through their field-scale tunnels, tunnel covers and net houses, and garden tunnels. They are furnishing cultivators with high-caliber, first-rate protected cultivation products at competitive prices, bringing consistency to cropping.

Mr. Sanjay Arora, Director at IG International Pvt. said, “This partnership enables us to provide cultivators with the pertinent products and tools required to thwart the effects of climate change on crops. Aatregreen has been a vanguard in the protected cultivation segment for a long time.”

“IG International is one of India’s fresh fruit importers and has a vast community of cultivators that grow fruits on their fields. Our expertise in protected cultivation manufacturing and their expansive network for fresh produce augurs well for this industrious partnership. Through IG Aatreyas, we hope to catalyze better harvesting practices which would not only benefit the growers but also provide the patrons with the best quality fresh produce on their plates.” added Mahendrabhai Makani, Founder & Chairman of Aatreyas Agro.
