Restart of bankrupt organic farmer after finding buyer

A buyer has been found for bankrupt company Oirschot Organics. This allows the organic greenhouse vegetable company to make a new start.

Trustee Geurt te Biesebeek of Aben & Slag Lawyers this week announced that "the right offer has been made, but some things still need to be put to paper. The trustee does not yet want to disclose who the buyer is, honoring the buyer's wishes. However, the trustee does let it be known that the buyer is very dedicated to the organic sector.

Oirschot Organics went bankrupt two weeks ago after a substantial claim by an energy supplier. The claim came rather suddenly, as the greenhouse complex had already been prepared for a new crop this winter. The plants had even been planted.

At the time, the trustee already expressed the hope of a restart in the short term.
