Tunnel now links these German greenhouses

In Germany, Wittenberg Gemüse growers has built a tunnel between two greenhouses. The Dutch company, Bosch Beton, installed 80 retaining walls and seven floor slabs for the project. It explains that the grower will soon be transporting strawberries via this tunnel, come rain or shine. The floor elements also serve as a path for fire trucks on the tunnel's roof. They built a ramp too.

Photos on LinkedIn and the company website show the construction work.

Bosch Beton built a ramp and tunnel at Wittenberg Gemüse GmbH. This is a sustainable fruit and vegetable farm in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany. Our team erected things like 80, up to 5m-high, retaining walls. We created a tunnel by placing floor elements on the retaining walls. It connects two horticultural greenhouses. The grower can soon transport his strawberries through this tunnel without the weather affecting the fruit.

Bosch Beton was fully involved in the project for engineering, production, project supervision, transportation, and on-site assembly. Find out more about it here.
