On 12 January, Sakata's local team and its distributor organized a cucumber field day in the Samarkand region, one of the key areas for cucumber production. Thirty-five distributors, dealers, growers, and nurseries came to visit the greenhouses to discover all Sakata’s local varieties for the autumn season. The spotlight was focused on Rebel F1, a cucumber that is very well adapted to the area.
After the greenhouse visit, the visitors and Sakata's teams shared lunch and took the opportunity to learn more about Betis F1 tomato for the hot to cold cycle which produces a better size, color, and yield for the autumn tomato market, as well as Ferrari F1 pepper which is also grown in this region.
