Production of Dutch company's new site's screen cloth begins

Yesterday was a special day for Kees van Veen of Agro Care. At the touch of a button, he started the production of their 'co-created' screen cloth. This is for this Dutch tomato growing company's new site in Tunisia. The cloth is being manufactured at Ridder. Jan Vellekoop and Peter Dekker of Peter Dekker Installations were also present. As were Niels Lünnemann and Joachim Keus of Ridder.

Ridder, also based in the Netherlands, began co-creating screen cloths in 2019. "Our customers and we discuss and plan out what they want. We develop a variant that meets our clients' specific requirements based on the existing clothes. We brainstorm with them to find solutions to the challenges their projects face. The Ridder Group's know-how and experience support that. We're proud of this fantastic development," Niels says.

Agro Care recently announced its significant expansion plans. It wants to add 120 hectares in Tunesia. Those plans were approved last year.
