Robotic salad vending machine introduced in Orlando

EnjoyRise, based in Orlando, has introduced a robotic machine that allows users to customize salad bowls with base offerings and toppings, according to a report from the Orlando Sentinel.

The first EnjoyRise machine, which dispenses the fresh ingredients from 22 rotating, refrigerated clear canisters, has been placed at Aspire Health's Orlando headquarters.

Salads can have up to six toppings on two bases, starting at $7. There is a $1 per protein charge for grilled chicken breast and diced turkey with fresh herbs. Yogurt, costing $5.99, can be topped with diced apples, berries, granola, and grapes. Customers can place orders via an app.
