Greenhouses are connected and concentrated in the core area of ​​Dengma Sightseeing Ecological Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park in Shiqu County, demonstrating its intelligence.

It was a local dream to build a greenhouse vegetable demonstration park before 2018. “In order to solve food supply problems for many years, the local county began planning its own vegetable base as early as 20 years ago. However, due to lack of funds, technologies, and talents, it has never been achieved. It was only with the help of counterpart support units from Sichuan that the long-cherished wish for many years was fulfilled."

In April 2018, the demonstration park was built on a wasteland and developed in three years, forming a modern ecological agricultural science and technology demonstration park with a scale of about 740 hectares. Chengdu Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences joined in to provide a full range of technical guidance and services for the demonstration park.

"This is a thermostatic greenhouse made of special materials, which solves the problem of cold climate on the plateau most of the time. In addition, there is sufficient sunlight on the plateau and the soil is pollution-free. The vegetables grown can be of good quality and high yield." He Jianping said. In the hot pepper greenhouse, he pointed to the pepper of the Japanese variety and said that its yield per hectare could be as high as 135,000kg.

Hypoglycemic pepper
There is a special greenhouse in the demonstration park. In the greenhouse, a green pepper rack as tall as a person was erected, and red and green peppers were hung on it. He Jianping plucked a yellow-green and tender pepper. "This is our hypoglycemic pepper here. You can eat it raw. "

He Jianping introduced that the origin of the hypoglycemic pepper is South Korea, and the world's first variety of healthy and functional hypoglycemic pepper has been bred by breeding experts in South Korea. In 2018, it was introduced into this demonstration park.

This kind of pepper is a one-year or perennial herb. It is larger than ordinary peppers, is light yellow, has sufficient water content, has a slightly spicy taste, and tastes similar to fruits. It can be eaten raw or fried or roasted.
