Full lineup of organic greenhouse grown vegetables on display at OPS

Pure Flavor® is bringing its full lineup of organic greenhouse grown produce to the 2021 Organic Produce Summit in Monterey, CA this September.

The grower’s organic offerings include a variety of fresh products from snacking favorites like Organic Aurora Bites Mini Sweet Peppers and Organic Sangria® Medley Tomatoes to dinner table staples like Organic Long English Cucumbers and Organic Tomatoes on-the-Vine.

Each of Pure Flavor’s nine USDA-Certified Organic vegetables are sustainably grown in a controlled greenhouse environment 365 days a year. Greenhouse growing allows the company to ensure consistency in flavor, size and nutrient makeup while using fewer resources and reducing waste. From a smart phone, growers control the temperature, humidity, water and light levels to ensure every plant thrives in the most efficient conditions – even in the winter.

“In 2020, the industry saw organic produce sales increase by 14 percent and it’s clear consumer demand is stronger than ever,” said Tiffany Sabelli, director of sales. “We have a wide-reaching network with distribution centers strategically located to respond to that demand every day of the year.”

During the pandemic, Pure Flavor surveyed hundreds of people across North America in its #LoveForFresh campaign. According to survey results, 80 percent of respondents purchase organic produce at least once a month and 74 percent enjoy snacking on organic produce every month.

Chris Veillon, chief marketing officer at Pure Flavor said the popularity of the brand’s organic items is a testament to its overarching brand strategy.

“There is a lot of information consumers need to weigh when making their organic choice at retail. But when they see the big blue Pure Flavor logo on the pack, the choice is simple,” said Veillon. “Our USDA-Certified Organics program is successful partly because of the consistent quality and great flavor, and partly because of the trust  built between the brand and the consumer.”

Veillon said the company reaches consumers in key regions across multiple digital channels with targeted ads and organic content that’s meant to forge an emotional connection.
