Final day of GreenTech Americas gets going

Today the final day of the GreenTech Americas takes place in Querétaro. Due to Covid, the first edition of the event has been anticipated for eighteen months and within the blink of an eye, it's almost over - but various exhibitors are already in for another edition next year. Here's what's going on in Mexico and what you should not miss on your final day at the show.

Despite the challenges COVID put out on the shows organisation, many exhibitors are happy to participate. They value the organized character of the show. And of course there's a lot going on in Mexico. Local companies expand because of the growing demand from the North American market and investors also find their way to the industry. Projects like Rising Farms and Finka are examples of how greenhouse growers are looking to scale up thanks to collaborating with investors.

But let's focus on the show itself for the moment. We received a great amount of pictures already (and look forward to receive more! --> [email protected] ) and will publish all tomorrow. But first....

With all the challenges due to Covid-19, the team with Paskal is happy to be at the show - especially since they are showcasing their brand new look. Don't forget to stop by and say hello and to congratulate them for their 30th anniversary!

Distribuidora de Sustratos Agricolas (DISA) in collaboration with INA Plastics has a new solution for plug trays, offering trays with a new peatmoss plug all in the 240 cavity tray by INA, "PIT-PLUG" tray. This new concept is developed for high tech nurseries enabling to have an organic substrate to be incorporated on their growing solutions. "As many grafting operations only work with rockwool they are not suitable for organic growers. With this new option we open an opportunity for growers and propagators for high quality plants and organic labeled products," they explain.
