Voltz Maraîchage España, a brand owned by the company Graines Voltz, specialized in the sale of conventional and bio seeds to professional vegetable growers, organized a meeting with its main customers from July 19 to 23 to showcase the latest innovations in some of its most cutting-edge products, including parsley, basil or chives.
The event took place at the Selmar Experimentation and Development Center, in the town of Santa Susana, Barcelona. Under the slogan 'Horticultural Days 2021', customers, growers and specialized journalists from all over Spain and Portugal gathered with the aim of learning about the latest developments of Voltz Maraîchage as regards organoleptic qualities and phenotypic traits, yields, uniformity, productivity and rational use of crop protection.
The list of varieties presented includes basil with improved organoleptic qualities and resistant to diseases such as mildew, pole beans suitable for any production area, parsley with green leaves (also resistant to some specific diseases), and chives with an erect shape and solid stems for different storage conditions. All of these are staple species for Hild Samen, which recently signed an agreement to hand over part of the vegetable seed business of the BASF division to the French firm.
Voltz Maraîchage is the number one independent French company devoted to vegetable seed distribution, cultivation and market development. Thanks to their strong convictions, they have been able to anticipate the needs of their customers and become an ambassador for new genetics in France. Day after day, they deliver the best vegetable genetics, and now, more than ever, they aim to boost the success of their customers with solutions adapted to their different markets through the launch of their new website: www.voltz-maraichage.com; a site where agricultural producers will find more than 2,000 varieties of seeds ready to buy.
