The North American horticulture has been hit hard by Covid-19, border closures, quarantines and disruptions to supply chains are limiting the access to fresh food. One of the results of the pandemic is that the demand for local and organic vegetables is increasing. Even before these challenging times, we saw an increase of greenhouses being built closer to large cities and developing Indoor Farms which are located inside the cities. The interest in sustainable solutions within the CEA (indoor and vertical) facilities and for future projects is growing.
Oreon is therefore expanding the dealer network in Canada with 2 new dealers. This enables us to respond even faster to the ever-growing number of customer requests for LED lighting.
Oreon is pleased to announce that Rocky Mountain Contracting will become a dealer serving the West Coast. They already have the experience to install and service Oreon fixtures, so working together was an easy decision. We look forward to working together on future projects and having success together in the West.
